A Proven Leader Dedicated to Building a Stronger IBEW Local 11
For 26 years, I’ve proudly served IBEW Local 11 as a member in good standing. My journey began with an electrical engineering degree, but my desire for hands-on experience led me to LATTC’s electrical construction and maintenance program. This practical knowledge, combined with a transformative union apprenticeship, equipped me with the skills and instilled the responsibility needed for a successful career.
Building a Secure Future
Thanks to my IBEW membership, I’ve achieved the American dream – owning a home and putting my four children through college. It’s this success story I want to replicate for all our brothers and sisters.
A Vision for Progress
As your next president, my focus is unwavering: securing better wages, benefits, and working conditions for every member.
Experience You Can Trust
My qualifications are extensive. I possess years of experience as an electrician, Foreman, and General Foreman, ensuring a strong understanding of field operations. As an Instructor, I’ve mentored apprentices, fostering the next generation of skilled electricians. My leadership extends to serving as a CE&CW Business Representative and ETI trustee, where I played a key role in negotiating significant wage increases.
Lifelong Learner
My commitment to excellence is reflected in my diverse educational background. Credentials from CSUN, University of Guadalajara, LA Trade Tech, University of Tennessee, and University of San Diego demonstrate my commitment to ongoing learning. Additionally, I hold certifications from the NJATC National Training Institute and GE.
United We Stand
My dedication extends to all members: apprentices, journeymen, instructors, and CE&CW. My vision, “Bring it back 11,” embodies the values of unity, solidarity, and open communication. This isn’t just a slogan – it’s the foundation for a thriving Local 11.
Hold Me Accountable
I believe in transparency and accessibility. My leadership will be guided by an open-door policy, and I encourage you to hold me accountable. Elect me, and together, we can build a stronger future for IBEW Local 11.
I take pride in my 27-year membership with IBEW Local 11, maintaining good standing throughout. Armed with a Business manager administrator and electrical engineering degree, I honed my skills in the field, graduating from LATTC’s electrical construction and maintenance program. My journey includes valuable experiences at Berg Electric and a transformative union 5 year apprenticeship, which not only equipped me with skills but instilled a sense of responsibility.
Having emerged as a journeyman, I’ve secured a home and supported my four children through college, a testament to the success I’ve found within IBEW. As a prospective president, my objectives are clear: to enhance wages, benefits, and working conditions for the betterment of our union.
My qualifications are rooted in General Foreman roles. As an Instructor, I imparted knowledge in various areas, overseeing classes from the first to the fifth year of the apprentice program. My leadership extends to roles such as Treasure and delegate, Business Representative and ETI trustee, contributing to negotiations that raised wages significantly.
Education-wise, I hold credentials from institutions like CSUN, the University of Guadalajara, LA Trade Tech, University of Tennessee, and University of San Diego. I’m committed to continuous learning, evident in my completion of the NJATC National Training Institute and GE certification.
In summary, my dedication to IBEW’s interests spans apprentices, journeymen, instructors, and CE&CW. “Bring it back 11” encapsulates my vision of unity, solidarity, and communication. I invite you to test my commitment, holding me accountable as I pledge to uphold an open-door policy.
